Make a Difference with the Newark Museum Business & Community Council
The Newark Museum Business & Community Council (NMBCC) is a group of enthusiastic and committed individuals who represent the city’s major businesses, institutions of higher education, government and community agencies. This remarkable group of diverse and philanthropic spirited individuals volunteers their time, talent, and financial resources to support the mission and activities of the Museum.
Business Council members serve as the Newark Museum’s “ambassadors” to their colleagues and other contacts at the companies, organizations and agencies they represent. NMBCC is passionate about giving back to the community through their work at the Museum. Annual events hosted by the Council include the popular networking and fundraising event, An Evening of Hot Chili & Cool Brew, the Graduate School Meet-Up, and Jazz in the Garden.
