What is the registration process?
Camp Newark Museum will be using Eventbrite for Virtual Camp. Upon registration, campers will receive a camp schedule via email with corresponding Zoom links and Google classroom access code.
How do I register more than one camper?
Up to four (4) campers can be registered during one (1) transaction per week, per age group. Be sure to select the correct age and week on Eventbrite for campers that are different ages.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
No, the only discount available is for Museum Members.
Do I have to sign up for all six weeks of camp?
No, Camp Newark Museum this year consists of six individual one-week sessions for children ages 5 to 12 and teens. You will be able to sign-up weekly.
What is the camp’s cancellation policy?
No refunds will be issued for cancellations.
Will there be any measures taken during this time?
Yes, given the swiftly evolving situation with COVID-19, The Newark Museum of Art has made the difficult decision to close our offices and the Museum until further notice. Camp staff will be working remotely during this time.
How can I make a payment?
Payment by credit card can only be processed online through Eventbrite. There is an additional Eventbrite processing fee that will be listed upon check-out.
Do you offer any discounts?

Who are the camp staff?
Our camp staff is made up of professional educators and teaching artists. Some have worked at Camp Newark Museum and as Museum educators for many years.
Can you tell me what the week’s schedule looks like?
Campers will participate in a morning session or afternoon session depending on their age. Classes will be 45-minutes long with a scheduled break between classes. No more than two live classes a day to eliminate screen fatigue. Sessions will incorporate art, science, and music and movement. What is the camp's termination policy?
The following are grounds for termination: overdue payments from past years, harassment, intimidation, or bullying whether written, verbal, or via electronic communication. Please note: no refunds will be issued if a camper is terminated because of their involvement in any of the aforementioned items.
